WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: Adobe Photoshop Basics. This is the software that we will be using to draw in this class for the rest of the year.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Photoshop is a standard creative tool in most creative industries. It is used by professional illustrators, digital painters, comic artists, concept artists, and game designers. It is extremely useful and powerful, but it is easy to get lost in all of it's tools and functions. We need to learn the basics before we can do more complicated work.
HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED: You will log into Photoshop and use the brush and erase tools to create a basic illustration of a tree. You will export a file in the correct format and turn it in to show your understanding.
