WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: This week we are starting a new unit focusing on Landscapes. We will define what a landscape is, and cover some basic vocabulary.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Landscapes are a critical part of how comic artists tell stories. Knowing how to create a landscape does more than give a story a setting, it helps us deepen our understanding of all the characters in a story.

HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED: You will watch a couple of videos about landscape art and take notes about landscape vocabulary.
