WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: How to read and define comics.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: We are making our own comics and so we need to be able to read and learn from comics that other people have made.

HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED: . You will read a comics posted to our class website and describe the story that you have read using a teams assignment.

Teams Assignment: Read a Webcomic

Criteria

Read one of the Webcomics posted below, or choose your own from the archive on Webtoons

Must be school appropriate.

Describe the story of at least one chapter

Choose three panels of the story:

Describe the image - what do you see, what's happening?
Write out all dialogue in the panel
Write out all narration in the panel

Panels must contain narration and/or dialogue
